I’ve decided that it’s a good thing for my brand and my wallet if I freelance. I had a few opportunities come up before I was even looking and I decided to take them on. And while getting to work with these clients makes me happy creatively, I’m mortified that I’m going to commit to too much and something is going to fall through the cracks—either my main job or one of my freelance things. I’m absolutely terrified of ruining my reputation by having one too many things come up and missing a deadline or submitting sub-par work.

How do you other creatives handle this? I’ve already established scheduling doesn’t quite do it for me. I’m too much of a procrastinator. I know I should do things earlier, but there’s always something else.
