Last night (well, 4 am this morning) I finished “The Line.” This is definitely my favorite book that I’ve read for this blog so far. It had a likable and new protagonist, a plot with no holes that I noticed, and the language was deliberate and well thought-out. In the final few chapter, the author managed to surprise me with twists and turns that I honestly didn’t see coming. I like that the writer didn’t just leave the story as it was going, but decided to make the ending interesting. I did have one issue, but I’ll bring it up in the full review as it is a major spoiler.

For the next novel, I believe I’m going to continue with this series. I know that doesn’t quite follow my format of reviewing free books, but who can pass up a good series?
